150 Companies Hiring
Remotely Right Now

A curated list of remote-first and remote-friendly employers across industries. Your warm target pipeline for the company-first search strategy from Module 3.

Open this list when you reach Module 3. Go through it and highlight twenty to thirty companies that are genuinely relevant to your background and the direction you want to go. These become your warm target list. Check their careers pages weekly. Apply to roles the day they are posted. For the five to ten companies you most want to work for, consider sending a speculative application using the Direct Outreach template from Bonus 1 before a role is ever listed.

Job boards are reactive. You find a listing, apply alongside several hundred other candidates, and wait. Most people never question whether that is the best approach. It is not.

The company-first approach is different. You identify organisations you genuinely want to work for — before they have an opening — follow them closely, and apply early when they do post. The difference in competition is significant. Early applicants to a role at a company they have been tracking for months show up differently in an application than someone who found the listing an hour ago on Indeed.

Every company on this list is here because it has a consistent track record of remote hiring. That does not mean every role they advertise is remote — it means the company is genuinely set up for distributed work and remote employees there are not operating at a structural disadvantage.

How to use this list

1

Go through the full list once. Do not filter by whether they currently have open roles. Filter by whether the company and sector is genuinely relevant to your experience and the direction you want to go. Highlight your top thirty.

2

Bookmark each company’s careers page directly. Not their LinkedIn page. Their actual careers page. That is where the freshest listings appear — often before they are syndicated to job boards.

3

Follow each company on LinkedIn and turn on notifications. You want to know when they post new roles, announce growth, or publish content about their team. Growth signals hiring.

4

For your top five to ten, consider a speculative application. Use the Direct Outreach Letter or Speculative Application template from Bonus 1. A well-written speculative outreach to a company that is growing and hiring remotely will reach someone. It might not produce an immediate result — but it puts you on file for when they need someone like you, ahead of every candidate who is only visible when they apply to a live listing.
